Dear lovely creative souls,
I hope you are feeling the lovely spring energy in your neck of the woods, or in the alleys of the city, or wherever you can be close to trees, grass, birds, air and water. Watch a short video clip here:
At Cozy Creek, the peepers are chirping, the birds are tweeting and the grass is growing green.
Here's what I have planned for May and June, in terms of workshops and retreats.
There is one upcoming series in which I will be leading a class online, that began in January, called This is Women’s Work, lovingly put together with 6 facilitators by Anne-Marie Bennett of Kaleidosoul. If you have taken classes with her before, you know that she picks great topics, with lots of experiential exercises, both right brain and left brain. I feel very honoured to have been asked to teach a class on Shadow Medicine Woman.
Saturday, May 2, 2 - 5 pm, Shadow Medicine Woman,
in the KaleidoSoul Special 2026 Series based on the book
This Is Woman's Work, by Dominique Christina
Calling Forth Your Inner Council of Wise, Brave, Crazy, Rebellious, Loving, Luminous Selves
This is #5 in a six month series that began in January, but it's still worth the price of entry to watch two more workshops live, and gain access to the recordings of four others. If you join KaleidoSoul, an excellent, supportive community at a very low rate of $44 US, you get a substantial discount (50%) on the series of workshops, plus access to the whole library of recorded workshops, and one free workshop a month - if you love doing SoulCollage(R) and learning more about your inner parts, archetypes and doing readings with your cards, this is a wonderfully rich place to join.
Along with your registration to the series , you also get access to KaleidoSoul's Self-Study Course on the SoulCollage® Council Suit : https://kaleidosoul.com/womans-work
All video classes are recorded so you don't have to attend "live." Plus, you don't need to purchase and read Dominique Christina's book.
My class on May 2 is on Shadow Medicine. All the other classes sound amazing! Click here for more info: registration page, This workshop is about finding Beauty in the Darkness, gold in the shadows, shifting things out of the deep into the light. Shadow woman is described by the author of This is Women’s Work as the secret self who lives in the womb space of the underbelly, hidden from consciousness, and tricky to see. She is the archetype of one who is interested in her own becoming, and longing to be seen. Perhaps you have some unmapped soul places to discover or some part of you that is waiting to be born. In this class we will use visualisation, centering and journaling to enter the waiting room of ourselves.
Sunday, May 11, Open Studio at Cozy Creek, 1-4 pm
Note that this special afternoon will not only be a time for card creation and dialogue, but we will also begin with an overview of the Suits and how to tell the difference between your Council suit (archetypes) and your Committee suit (inner parts of self).
Please note that all sessions at Cozy Creek are bilingual-- we have a mixed group of French and English speakers and it works very well.
Lastly, Saturday June 20, I am offering a beautiful restorative Retreat day entitled Embodying Home, Tending the Inner Flame, with Somatic Movement by Natalia Rodriguez, and SoulCollage® with me.

Registration includes Lunch, and the Early Bird special ends May 30, so do sign up now :)
I have a few more writing projects I'm working on, and one of them turned into a video poem! a poet friend (and SoulCollager) Elizabeth-Paulette Coughlin and I began a conversation on email, writing a poem a day for 30 days. We used the Tanka style as inspiration (like Haiku but 7 lines long). I will tell you more about our book launch soon, but it's a very cool project - we recorded the audio reading at Cozy Creek Studio, then my niece added artistic photos and it became a video poem. More news about how to purchase a copy soon.
So stay in touch, be well, and keep expressing your creativity !
love
Jennifer
